4. Megalochori Village (aprox. 40’mins )
Megalochori is a picturesque, full of life village with friendly, lively residents. The central square is the heart of the village where locals gather in traditional cafes to unwind and have fun, creating a warm atmosphere. It is definitely worth spending an evening here in order to be part of this sentiment and taste local dishes under the natural shade the trees provide. You can find traditional taverns, cafes and shops in other corners of the village as well.
5. Santorini Winery (aprox. 40’mins)
Visit Venetsanos winery and have the opportunity to learn in an entertaining way all there is to know about the wine culture of the island overlooking the caldera. Taste Santorini’s distinctive wines (3 wines) and learn about one of the oldest vineyards in Europe while admiring the spectacular view of the volcano.
6. Pyrgos Village (Tour + Lunch Time @13:45 1:45 p.m, aprox 1 hr)
Pyrgos Village is one of the most beautiful and traditional villages around the Cycladic islands. Is located on a hill and is called Pyrgos (tower) due to the ruins of a Venetian castle at the top. The panoramic view of Caldera, Fira town and Imerovigli village, the picturesque of the small streets and the old houses, makes it a pole of attraction for the visitors. 7. Profitis Ilias Mountain (aprox. 10’ mins)
The highest point in the island for panoramic photos.
8. Oia – Sunset (aprox. 2 h)
Oia village it is a picturesque settlement where the visitor can admire the old cave houses and the mansions, the blue-domed churches and the white washed modern houses that make Oia unique and amazingly pretty and of course you will watch the notorious sunset.
